Todd Murray

Todd Murray, attorney and owner of the Law Office of Todd A. Murray, has been practicing law for more than 35 years in Northern California. 

He earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.  At McGeorge he wrote for the Pacific Law Journal, Legislative Review, Environmental Law Section. 

After graduation. he served as law clerk to the Honorable Harvey Uhlenhopp, Supreme Court Justice, in the Iowa Supreme Court. 

Mr. Murray serves as a judge pro tem for the Sacramento and El Dorado County Superior Courts and is an administrative hearing officer for the Sacramento County Civil Service Commission.

An involved community member, Mr. Murray has been involved with Sutter Health for nearly 30 years. Among his roles, he currently serves on the Sutter Health Board of Directors where he chairs the Finance and Planning Committee. For many years, he also chaired the Medical Affairs Committee for Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento. He continues to serve as the chairman of the Community Benefits Committee for Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento.

In addition, Mr. Murray has served as board member and president of the Ronald McDonald Camp at Eagle Lake, the Sacramento-area Special Olympics, the Active 20-30 Club of Sacramento and the Point West Rotary Club. He currently serves on the Board of Capitol Public Radio in Sacramento.

Elicia Bennett

Elicia Bennett, CCLS has been employed as a paralegal with the Law Offices of Todd A. Murray since 2005. She is a paralegal graduate from MTI College, an approved ABA educational facility, in 2002.

Mrs. Bennett provides paralegal support in many aspects of Mr. Murray's law practice and to clients, including: client communications, pleading and document drafting, preparing and reviewing discovery, pre-trial and post-trial motions, researching, analyzing, investigation, subpoenas, trial preparation, and other court documents; correspondence, agreements, deeds, and other specialized legal documents.

She also handles the firm's case administration and office management. She has significant experience in all aspects of civil litigation, business formation and litigation, real estate law, trust and estates, and probate.
